It is difficult to comment on the new Desire 500 when there is no information on price. The product name is used on HTC Desire cheaper models. Meanwhile, HTC has historically been difficult to push down the price of its phones under 3000 crowns, so our guess is that this will be a mellanprislur with a price tag of around 3500 SEK.

Interesting in this context is when the phone is equipped with a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, more specifically, the system circuit Qualcomm Snapdragon 200. Earlier, it is really only the low priced Chinese manufacturers who made cheaper phones with quad-core processor.

The screen is of 4.3 inches, the size of the low resolution 480 x 800 pixels. Working memory is 1GB and the built-in storage memory on modest 4 gigabytes. Memory card slot is available. The camera however is of 8 mega pixels with video recording at 1280 x 720 pixels.

HTC does not indicate the version of the Android system, but the phone must be equipped with the latest version of HTC Sense, including news feature Blink Feed.

In the current situation, we have no information if and when the phone goes on sale in Sweden.
