Unlike Samsung, Sony and Nokia, HTC has not announced any major news at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Instead, they booked 25 March to show its upcoming flagship phone that according to rumors and leaked photos may have not one but two cameras on the back.

camera was in focus when the company already released the HTC One last year to further refine this feature sounds plausible. Two cameras have previously been a typical sign of 3D functionality, but it is not certain that it is 3D it is about this time.

Technology site Engadget has spoken to Corephotonics, a company that works with a similar system, and they have a number of explanations as to what the profits with two cameras could be.

HTC One 2013 mobile - Mobile

Each year, at the Mobile World Congress, I assign the prizes Global Mobile Awards in several categories. Most attention is usually the category this year to be mobile, and in 2013 the prize went to HTC One.

HTC shows Desire and Desire 610 816 - Mobile

two launches is getting HTC reminded of Barcelona. HTC’ve already invited to a grand launch on March 25 when we expect that we will see a new flag cap product to replace the HTC One. It does not prevent HTC from four out of a couple of launches are also now in Barcelona.

New HTC Desire 610
Desire was formerly prestigious brand, but now the name of HTC’s cheaper models and Desire 610 is a 4G phone with a screen of 4.7 inches and a home screen with HTC Wink Feed which is also available in the flagship model HTC One. There is also the HTC Boom Sound with stereo speakers on the front of the phone to direct the sound directly toward you and not backwards or sideways as often otherwise be the case.

HTC Desire 816 has two cameras, ie one on the back with 13 megapixels and then a five-megapixel for self-portraits. Both come to Sweden
HTC today can not give any additional specifications but confirms that both phones come to Sweden. Some prices are not yet set, but in the global press release stated that the Desire 816 launched globally in April this year and that the Desire 610 launched in Europe in March.

HTC Desire 816 is a plastic HTC One

BARCELONA, Spain – Dubbed the new flagship handset for its mid-tier range, the Desire 816 packs plenty of personality into its 5.5-inch form factor. While it’s not HTC M8 that’s set for a debut in New York City on March 25, there’s still plenty to like.

For one, the Desire 816 is patterned after the HTC One range – but in plastic. Before you shake your head in disapproval though, I’d like to point out That the phone actually looks and feels pretty good. HTC seems to have taken a page from the Apple iPhone 5C with a glossy rear, and it comes in bright colors too.

The 5.5-inch HD (1,280 X720 pixel) was bright and clear, and had excellent viewing angles. I was not allowed to try out the UI though – HTC said the UI just was not ready, but I did manage to catch a glimpse of the Blink Feed screen, and I quite liked its look.

While it does not come with HTC’s Ultra Pixel camera, HTC has packed a 5-megapixel front camera for people who like taking selfies, and while you can not use the front camera for HTC’s Zoe, it will record HD video. On the back is a 13-megapixel camera, similar to what you’ll find on the current flagship handsets.

Rounding up the package is LTE connectivity – though Depending on where the handset launches, it will come in a dual-SIM flavor. HTC told me thatthis is actually a dual-active version, so both SIM cards will be running 3G at the sametime.
