Nokia and the Taiwanese mobile manufacturer HTC have reached a settlement in a patent dispute.
Nokia announced on Friday that the companies signed an agreement whereby both technical cooperation and collaboration in the field of patents.
Under the agreement, HTC will provide financial compensation for Nokia, which in turn releases all claims against HTC.
According to Nokia, the purpose of the agreement to establish a closer technical cooperation and pave the way for any future projects.
Nokia has besides the HTC had patent disputes with Canadian Blackberry and American ViewSonic.
