The successor of HTC One has been in news since a long time and the phone is expected to launch around the end of February at the Mobile World Congress. There havebeen multiple leaks and rumors surrounding the smartphone. However, while nothing was confirmed yet, looks like the secret has been leaked by a French site Which has the listings are for the HTC successor on theirsite.
While the grapevine attributed two names to HTC One 2014: HTC One 2 and HTC One Plus, we guess the Taiwanese phone maker is sticking to HTC One second While we like the second one much better (for obvious reasons), folks over at HTC Clearly have other ideas. The French government website has Listed not just one but two variants of the upcoming smartphone! HTC One 2 and HTC One 2 Dual SIM. New Caledonia’s Office of Posts and Telecommunications siteslisted both the phones and we do not think this is a fake link. The phone Appearing on the official government website hints at a launch within the next few weeks. While dual-SIM devices are nothing new, phone makers gene rally aside the dual-SIM variant for a later launch, after the excitement over the new flagship has ebbed a bit. Also, dual-SIM variants are gene rally market-specific and Launched quietly. Looks like HTC might change the trend with the launch of the HTC One second

HTC One overpriced Launched in the dual-SIM variant in India but with a much higher price tag. we hope HTC rectifies this with the HTC One second
Apart from debuting with a dual-SIM, not much is yet known about the device. The phone Which has been nick-named M8 (HTC One was called M4) will continue the ultra-pixel trend but with an improved pixel count this time around. Also, the smartphone is expected to come with a 5-inch display, unlike the current version Which has a slightly smaller screen.
In another Recent leak, HTC One 2 home-screen buttons were leaked. The smartphone will boast of three capacitive buttons on the home screen, once more reverting to the old style. With HTC One HTC had ditched the middle button, coming with just two capacitive buttons on the home screen. The phone is expected to come with 3GB RAM, 800 Snapdragon chipset, 2K resolution and Android 4.4 with Sense UI. class=”picCaption c22″> HTC M8 Leaked Home Screen Buttons Courtesy: AndroidAndMe
