Sony Xperia Z: Not quite as good as One but certainly not bad. Bravia engine is nice and makes a difference when you see the movie, especially when the base material is not too high quality. The color reproduction is not as sharp as the One, the colors are a bit more washed out and blacks are not as “black”. Though at the same time it is a little bigger than the screen on One, and a little better when it comes to visibility in sunny conditions.

HTC One: Short and sweet sweep Ones screen mat with all competitors units. Though it has the same resolution as the Z’s screen so it is much better on both the color reproduction and viewing angles. It also has a slightly higher pixel density but there is no noticeable difference with the naked eye. The fact that it is smaller than the Sony screen you do not think so much. Is the screen importantly, it’s HTC One who wins.
