note The Taiwanese mobile manufacturer reduced its workforce by up to 30 people in its subsidiary HTC America. Overall, the U.S. division around 150 employees. The aim, according to HTC to “streamline and optimize our organization and improve efficiency after several years of aggressive growth.” The reason is that the company has had problems with their profitability and sales.
