Nokia wins first round in patent dispute - Business World

The U.S. Trade Court (ITC) decided in accordance with preliminary statement on Monday evening HTC guilty of patent infringement of two of Nokia’s patents.

The first patent for technology that eliminates errors in radio signals, while the other protects a way of dealing with different radio frequencies.

It reports Bloomberg News.

ITC found that HTC is not done infringement of a third patent, which claims a method of sending data from PC to mobile phone.

The judgment will be reviewed, and a final ruling is expected 23 January next year.
