"New" HTC One can accommodate two SIM cards - Mobile

For some time, there is a Chinese version of HTC One who holds two SIM cards and memory cards of the type Micro-SD.

The new HTC One version is identical to the past when it comes to specifications for such systems processor and camera sensor. The difference between the two models is that the “updated” HTC One has removable shells.

You remove the skin using a small locking mechanism on the side of the phone. Once you’ve removed the shell you’ll find space for two SIM cards, as well as a microSD card on the back of the phone.

According to HTC, this must be due to technical limitations on the system chip, which is thus a Snapdragon 600 chip from Qualcomm. When it comes to memory slot, you should be able to connect the MicroSD card up to 64 GB of the phone. The handset’s internal memory is 32 GB.

Both cards active simultaneously

Moreover told HTC that you can have both cards active simultaneously. It means you do not have to switch between the cards, for example, be able to receive SMS messages that you have been sent to your job number. Every time you send a text message or make a call, you are asked by phone about which sim card to be used. You can also set the phone to always start with a SIM card active, while the other is resting.

HTC One Dual Sim model is expected to be released in Sweden in the fourth quarter, and the same price tag as the HTC One today.
