Next year, HTC will launch a successor to the HTC One , codenamed P8, and we’ve alreadycreated heard many details describing what this device will be all about. Here we want to quickly sum it up for you so you know what to expect from the Taiwanese company in 2014.
1. The M8 will rock Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip
This is the same chip used in Such devices as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 , the Samsung Galaxy Y, LG G2 and Nexus 5 . Qualcomm Announced an improved version of this chip, Snapdragon 805, but we doubt it will be ready by the time the M8 launches. That said, we May see some sort of upgraded version of HTC’s flagship released in the second half of the year. In comparison, the current HTC One uses Snapdragon 600.
second It willhave 3GB of RAM
Yeah, we expect it to match the Amount of RAM found in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3rd While we do not have this confirmed, we do think That HTC needs to up its game if it wants to stay relevant in the higher end of the market. Adding an additional gig of RAM on top of what HTC One has seems like logical step in That direction.
third Sense 6.0
HTC M8 will be the first HTC-made smartphone shipping with brand new version of Sense UI – 6.0. We’re not sure what kind of enhancements this release willbring but we would bet the phone will follow the modern design guidelines, featuring more flat icons and overall cleaner interface.
fourth 5-inch screen
It is saidthat the screen will grow from 4.7 to 5 inches, while screen resolution will stay at 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). We guess there willalso ask Boom Sound speakers around it, though again – we can not be 100% confident about this.
5th LTE-Advanced
In markets where That makes sense, HTC will sacrifice LTE-A enabled version of the M8 Whereas the rest of the world will get Appropriate LTE and HSPA + variants.
And that’s all we (do not) know. It is saidthat HTC will launch the M8 in early 2014 and you bet we’ll bring you all the details as soon as we get ‘em. Stay tuned …
